Lost and Found in Cape Town (Free)
About
I’ve never left England before until now. Three months in Cape Town. An internship. A chance to finally prove I can function like a normal adult in the real world.
That was the plan, anyway.
Then I met my housemate.
Archie Flynn. Australian. Loud. Confident in a way I find deeply suspicious. Possible alcoholic and sex addict. The sort of person who walks into a room and somehow makes it worse without trying.
And of course, I was stuck living with him.
If that wasn’t bad enough, we’re also competing for the same job. Which means every day is a careful balance between pretending I’m fine and trying not to completely lose my patience.
I’m trying to stay focused. Keep my head down. Say what needs to be said—preferably without tripping over it.
But Archie doesn’t really allow for silence. Or focus. Or sanity.
Cape Town was supposed to be my fresh start. Instead, it feels like I’ve been dropped into someone else’s chaos and told to call it experience.
And the worst part is… I think this is only the beginning.
Lost and Found in Cape Town is a darkly comic coming-of-age story about travel, ambition, and what happens when the wrong flatmate becomes impossible to ignore.
