Lost in Amsterdam
About
I came to Amsterdam to prove my digital nomad life wasn’t a complete joke. A government-backed writing gig about Bitcoin and tulips—yes, tulips. A fresh city, and a chance to finally do something that looked vaguely like purpose.
Unfortunately, imposter syndrome kicked in.
So when my old mate Bryce showed up—armed with bad ideas and zero regard for consequences—I didn’t exactly resist the distraction.
Then he disappeared.
Last seen in the red light district. Which, admittedly, didn’t seem that unusual at first.
Until I found out he wasn’t in Amsterdam for the reasons I thought.
Bryce had a meeting scheduled. A secret one. With people who don’t advertise, don’t explain themselves, and definitely don’t appreciate being looked into.
What starts as a simple search for a missing friend quickly turns into strange rituals, a financial conspiracy, and an overly amorous dwarf—and the creeping suspicion I’ve stumbled into a world I don’t understand and definitely don’t belong in.
The more I dig, the less anything makes sense. And the harder it becomes to tell whether I’m uncovering the truth… or losing my mind.
But thank God for Doctor Wolff—she’s made this whole bizarre trip into Amsterdam’s underbelly almost worth it.
Lost in Amsterdam is a darkly comic descent into paranoia, bad decisions, and the kind of secrets that are probably better left alone.
